It started as a dream.

As an overly-protected child growing up in Brazil founder Patricia Wolfe was never introduced to the world of movement and athletics. Finally, at age fifteen she discovered her love of working out and became a devoted gym rat and beach bum with an eye for fashion. When she moved to the United States the Brazilian athletic wear she came with attracted attention not just for its style but for its strength, longevity and the way it complemented the female form. When she began her Yoga work she saw a need for a similar product to complement the demands of the practice.

As long as she can remember Patricia has dreamed of creating her own clothing line. A bit shy, she found the name Miado, the cry of the Gato do Mato or Wild Cat native to Brazil, a perfect representation of the voice she had found with her athletic clothing.
